The AMD65 or Automata Modositott Deszant 1965 is a licensed variant of the AKM rifle that was manufactured by Hungary. Developed in 1965, it first saw service in 1967 and was used by the armored infantry and paratrooper units of the Hungarian Defense Forces. Today it is used in various western security forces including private military and contract employees.
